The Holidays are here and everybody is awaiting to see what the Jolly Old Elf will be tucking in everyone's stockings, and Christmas Trees. Maybe something will be tucked into someone's car trailer? Who knows.
Regardless, the 2011 Calender Year is rapidly vanishing and 2012 is just around the corner. Hopefully, everyone enjoys safe and happy traveling to wherever their Holiday endevors take them. Personally, I'm not going too far. I'll be attending 3 separate Christmas parties. One for my Father's side of the Family, one for Immediate Family, and one for my Mother's side. The last of which coming on the day I celebrate my birth.
New clay has been laid on the Little Track with a Big Heart. Now we just wait for Opening Day at the Rock (April 28th) and see what kind of racing the new clay will provide us with. Of course, everything that happens at Limerock depends on what Mother Nature throws at us between now and the last week of April.
Come late January, I'll be making the trip from Greater Rochester International Airport down to the Sunshine State for the 50th running of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Provided will be images of all the sports cars racing in Grand-Am's two series (Especially the all new Corvette Daytona Prototype), and even some classic cars showcased in the infield at the World Center of Racing. After that we look forward to NASCAR returing to the High-banks at Daytona, then to our own Season Opener.
Until then, Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
